2016 Lower Bucks Swim League Championships (rules and procedures)

Overview: There are four (4) League Championship events at the end of the season; 8 & Under, and one for each division; Red, White and Blue.
If any of the League Championships are rained out, the 8&U Championship will be rescheduled to its raindate. Coaches will notify.


Contact your coach for sign-up information for Division Championships or if your team uses it, login in to your team's Active portal

8 & U Divisional standings will be determined at this meet. Note: There is no 8 & under final championship meet.

Fee: Individual Events = $4.00 each. Individual payment details to follow. All relay selections will be determined by team coaching staff and the team will pay for relay entries from the individual payments gathered.

Eligibility: Competitors in the championship meets must have been regular members of a competing league team during the current season and have competed officially or unofficially in at least 40% of the regularly scheduled Lower Bucks Swim League Dual meets.

Event Participation: All contestants are allowed to enter a maximum of three (3) events plus one (1) relay for a total of four (4) events.

The relay this year is a free relay.

Deadline: No entries will be accepted after the last Thursday before divisions championships.

Division Championships -
Medals – 1st to 6th place
Ribbons – 7th to 21st place

Relays: Awards for relays - 1st to 8th place

League Finals: After completion of Div Champs, all div times from each event shall be combined, and the 16 fastest times incl ties shall qualify for League Finals.

Top 16 fastest relay times advance to League Finals; Top 8 will receive awards

Prior to seeding of the League Champs (Finals), a coach scratch meeting will determine the top 16 qualifiers & 2 alternates.

Positions 17 & 18 will be alt entries and will swim in place of a 'no show'. All scratches made at the scratch meeting shall be final and cannot be re-instated.

For Finals, the seeding time shall be the time attained at Div Champs.
